Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) Migrates to New Filing Platform
The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) has recently migrated from Gabriel to a new filing platform, RegData, which facilitates an enhanced filing experience due to better technology, advanced analytics and easier navigation. It also provides users with access to alternative submission methods such as the Direct Submission Gateway and the Secure File Transfer Protocol (SFTP).
Changes to the new platform were made after a thorough analysis of the feedback received from Gabriel users. To help ease the transition to RegData, the FCA team is reaching out to registered Gabriel users with account set up instructions and, from there, new users are processed through a predetermined checklist followed by the decommissioning of the old system.
Apart from a number of available help documents and user guides, the FCA has also published a range of short videos to run users through the new platform’s functionalities. Other important resources include:
- Registration of Principal Users
- Step-by-Step User Guide
- RegData Prod Site
- RegData Test Site
- Test Environment: RegDataTest@FCA.org.uk
- Other Queries: Queries@FCA.org.uk
