NAV Glossary
Calculated NAV

Definition: The per-share value of a fund calculated at any point in time, not necessarily the end of the trading day as with the closing NAV. The calculation is the same: assets less liabilities, divided by shares outstanding.

Example: A fund with $50 million in assets, $5 million in liabilities, and two million outstanding shares would have a calculated NAV of $22.50 per share.
